Raja Ampat
The Last Paradise on Earth

Raja Ampat is a stunning archipelago comprising over 1,500 small islands, nestled in the seas of West Papua right on the equator, rightly often called The Last Paradise on Earth. The beauty of its jungle-covered islands, seas and sea shores is truly otherworldly. Last but not least, Raja Ampat is the area with the highest underwater biodiversity in the world, making it a true paradise for divers of all kinds. As a UNESCO Geopark, the entry to the archipelago is allowed with a special permit, number of which is limited. In addition to all the beauty, you can therefore be sure your trip will become a very private experience and you will enjoy wonderful dive sites without the crowds.

Raja Ampat can be experienced either as a stay in a small resort on one of the islands from which we organise daily trips, or as a four plus-day cruise on one of our liveaboards. Those can be either traditional phinisi sailboats or yachts. All the liveaboards are fully serviced so our clients can enjoy their trips with the help of their private chefs, dive masters, yoga teachers and staff who are fully concerned with the comfort, safety and of course the fun of our guests. The ships are equipped with full diving and snorkelling gear, dinghies, paddleboards, kayaks, books and, on request, complete yoga equipment or for example subwings.

You can expect some extraordinary snorkelling and diving with an enormous variety of unique sea creatures, micro and macro. Schools of fishes, sharks like black and white tips, wobegons, even majestic hammerheads or whale sharks in some locations, gorgeous oceanic manta rays, coral reef fishes, nudibranchs and seahorses of all kinds and colours and we could continue for hours. Let’s not forget the fascinating coral gardens and reefs.

On our Raja Ampat trips you will also experience multiple island visits, both inhabited and deserted, meeting locals to talk about their true island life and learn about their culture. Our clients also experience fun jungle hikes for spectacular viewpoints as well as a secret lake where they can swim with completely harmless freshwater jellyfishes. In addition, our team organises unforgettable private beach dinners and small events on deserted islands for our clients. With the help of our team of photographers and videographers, we are also always ready to convert your memories into digital form.

Raja Ampat is a truly very unique experience that should not be missed by any boat and diving lover. The trips are very comfortable, suitable for everyone including your children. When visiting the Raja Ampat archipelago, it’s highly recommended to also visit the main land of West Papua. Our clients experience phenomenal visits to Papuan national parks with local naturalists to observe their exotic fauna such as tree kangaroos, cassowaries, birds of paradise or Reimani turtles. And of course highly interesting meetings with multiple local tribes, their unique ceremonies and celebrations. All this while staying in a fantastic 4* lodge with wonderful views. Indonesia is an amazing country full of diversity, so based on the preferences of our clients, our team is naturally ready to organise a stay or a cruise to other islands such as Bali, Flores / Komodo, Sumba, Sumatra etc.
