The group will start the experience by visiting a lively Kathmandu, its most interesting temples and breathtaking stupas. We will not miss shopping in its unique center, visit of the so-called Freak Street - a popular neighborhood inhabited by Hippies in the 70s. Of course we’ll also experience ceremonies that will amaze you, we’ll connect with locals and visit mountain villages in the heart of the Himalayas, listening to their life stories and have some interesting talks to holy men and monks. Then the group moves to a wonderful Chitwan national park, where we’ll experience a true Tanzanian - like jeep safari to observe rhinos, elephants and Bengal tigers. The last but not least will not miss the wonderful Pokhara mountain region right below majestic Annapurna and its breathtaking views. Optional helicopter flight to the base camp of Mt. Everest and to Namche Bazaar, the capital of the Sherpas, is an experience of a lifetime! As a bonus, it is possible to join a unique four-day trek in the unique Upper Mustang area, which is truly an experience you will remember forever. With the help of our team of photographers and videographers, we are also always ready to convert your memories of this trip into digital form.

Travel itinerary:

May 2nd - Arrival in the capital of Nepal, Kathmandu. Transfers with a private driver from the airport to the hotel, relaxation, a short introduction to the group and an info meeting. In case of early arrival, the possibility of visiting the city.

May 3rd - Breakfast. Kathmandu tour. Today we will visit the Pashupatinath temple complex, where important city ceremonies, traditional cremations take place, we will meet here with holy men, the Hindu community, but we will also take you to our secret place to meet the Buddhist community. Of course, we will also not forget the great local restaurant. As part of the day, we will also visit the wonderful city of Bhaktpur, which served as the capital of Nepal from the 12th to the 15th. century. In the evenings, optional shopping is possible in the central district of Kathmandu, which is an experience in itself! Most clients usually end up here every day, as Nepal offers really great opportunities for buying quality souvenirs at perfect prices. These are mainly cashmere products, gold, silver and precious stones, functional mountain clothes and equipment (so we recommend not to bring from home but to buy them in Nepal for a fraction of the price), singing bowls, incense sticks, teas and more.

May 4th - Breakfast. In the early hours of the morning, there is a departure for an optional helicopter flight to the base camp of Mt. Everest, weather permitting. Alternatively, a free program in the morning or a visit to the Osho meditation center. In the afternoon, the group will go to explore the most interesting districts and monuments of Kathmandu.

May 5th - Breakfast. Today, the group will travel to the historic city of Kirtipur, which is not much visited by tourists. It thus offers privacy when visiting temples, monuments and an unusual insight into the lives of the locals. At the same time, if the head priests allow that day, we will visit the monks in the abbey. Program 4. and 5.5. may, depending on the weather, take place in the opposite order.

May 6th - Breakfast. Transfer to airport and flight to Chitwan National Park. It is a short, roughly 20-minute flight followed by an hour-long minivan ride to a charming safari lodge. You will be surprised by the unique atmosphere and appearance of the location, which will strongly remind you of Tanzania. This is followed by a relaxing early evening by the pool and an evening performance of traditional dances.

May 7th - Early start and safari! We will go in jeeps to observe various species such as rhinoceros, elephants, various types of deer, monkeys and wild pigs and, with a bit of luck, majestic Bengal tigers. Breakfast will take place directly on the safari in the form of an experience picnic. The afternoon is followed by relaxation by the pool or spa treatments. Optionally, it is also possible to complete a river cruise or another afternoon safari program. In Chitwan, however, the temperature is usually around 30 C, so pool activities are usually very welcomed.

May 8th - Breakfast and transfer to our next location, mountains of Pokhara. We have another one-hour journey to the airport and a short flight of approximately 20 minutes. The flight is scenic, offering enchanting views. After check-in at the hotel, we will start an afternoon tour of the area.

If you are interested, it is possible to take an optional, very exciting sightseeing flight in a hot air balloon with a view of the breathtaking Annapurna.

May 9th - Breakfast and the first trek of the expedition! We will visit the Australian base camp and at the same time a very authentic local village. The roughly 2.5-hour trek is not difficult, but if you don't feel like trekking in general, you can alternatively complete an alternative program in the form of another tour in Pokhara or, for example, a fun boat cruise on the lake.

If interested, it is also possible to take an optional sightseeing flight with a hot air balloon or a really amazing morning helicopter flight to the Annapurna base camp.

May 10th - Breakfast. Farewell to our Nepalese expedition, flight to Kathmandu and to the final destination or the beginning of our trip for a  trek in Upper Mustang!

Optionally, it is also possible to arrange a stay of several days in one of the traditional meditation or yoga centers around Kathmandu. We will be happy to inform you about the possibilities

Prices of optional activities see itinerary:

helicopter ride to Mt. Everest base camp (40 minutes of wonderful scenic flight there and 40 minutes back, landing at base camp, landing at Namche Bazaar. Total time = about 4 hours) = 1350 Usd/person. After quality research, we have negotiated for you the truly best company in Nepal. And this with regard to the experience (landing in Namche Bazaar is otherwise not quite standard) and above all to safety.

helicopter flight to Annapurna base camp (20 minutes of wonderful scenic flight there and 20 minutes back, short landing at Annapurna base camp) = about 450 USD/person (varies according to the number of people in the helicopter).

TREK IN UPPER MUSTANG:

Dates: May 10th - 15th

Price Upper Mustang trek: 1000 Usd / person

The price includes Czech and English speaking production team, excellent local mountain guide and sherpas (ie you don't carry your own luggage, which you will appreciate), 4 nights in Tea houses with full board, 1 night in a 4* hotel in Pokhara with breakfast, transfers to and from Pokhara airport , Pokhara - Upper Mustang - Pokhara small plane flight.

The route is suitable for all persons without serious health complications. Trek is suitable for more active individuals in standard condition. No special training needed.

In principle, we choose treks of a simpler type, which are suitable for almost everyone without health restrictions. However, we have prepared something truly special for this May trip, a trek in the absolutely exceptional location of Upper Mustang! The area is not easily accessible, so it will be a truly unique experience. Upper Mustang lies in the very north of Nepal and is known for its very specific landscape and it is also one of the most important Buddhist pilgrimage sites.

We will start the trek with a short flight over Pokhara - Upper Mustang in a smaller aircraft, which is an experience in itself. This will be followed by familiarization with the environment and an overnight stay in the first small hotel. In the next 4 days we will go on a trek in an area that offers breathtaking views and atmosphere and a very unique nature. We will also visit the abbey of this forgotten part of the country, mingle with the locals and take away, absolutely guaranteed, real life experiences!

For the trek, we have selected an absolutely excellent team of mountain guides and sherpas for you, as a low-quality or unfunny guide (unfortunately, there are many of them in the area) can spoil the impression or even endanger the safety of the trip. And for us, quality is a priority. Part of the trek can also be done on horseback, if you wish.

During the trip, the group sleeps in simple facilities - so-called Tea Houses, in double rooms, where complete meals for the group are also taken care of. The choice of catering is understandably limited due to the location, but sufficient. Showers are available. Wifi too.

On the penultimate day of the trek, the group will fly back to Pokhara, where the last night will be spent in a 4* hotel.

Do not hesitate to contact us. We look forward to answering your questions and to discussing your ideas.
